Integrated Technology and Traditional Pedagogy: Echancing Islamic Education in Digital in a Digital Age

Abstract


The digital age has brought significant changes in the way we live and learn. Islamic education is no exception. In the midst of rapid technological development, it is important to integrate technology with traditional pedagogy to improve the quality of Islamic education. This study aims to analyze the integration of technology with traditional pedagogy to improve Islamic education in the digital age. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Data was collected from a variety of sources, including scientific journals, books, and online articles. The data were then analyzed thematically to identify key themes related to the integration of technology and traditional pedagogy in Islamic education. In this context, an approach that focuses on the application of technology in Islamic religious teaching is identified as the key to enriching the learning experience. Data analysis in this study is qualitative analysis.  The results show that the integration of technology and traditional pedagogy is an effective strategy to improve Islamic education in the digital era. This research provides recommendations for educators and policymakers to develop and implement learning strategies integrated with traditional technologies and pedagogy.
