IKIGAI TRAINING: Solutions for High School Students in Facing Stress in Learning During Covid 19

Abstract


Covid-19 has various effects on high school students, one of which is stress. It was found that quite a lot of high school students experienced stress due to changes in learning methods from offline to online. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of ikigai training on high school students to cope with stress due to covid-19. This study uses a quantitative approach with Pre-Experimental Designs with a One – Group Pretest-Posttest Design model. The subjects of this study were 8 students aged 15 -17 years in grades 10 - 12 who were students of SMK 1 Muhammadiyah Batu, East Java. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon matched pairs signed rank test showed that there was a positive effect that could significantly reduce the academic stress of high school students during online learning during the covid 19 pandemic.
