Implementation Of Global Crisis Impact Handling Program By Korem 032/Wirabraja Nation Army Of Indonesia West Sumatera
Abstract
This research is motivated by the issue of the COVID-19 pandemic which began at the end of 2019. In Indonesia, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused a decline in people's purchasing power which then later this issue also resulted in another problem named food security. As a measure to anticipate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the availability and stability of food prices in Indonesia, the government must ensure that facilities and assistance in all lines of food, from production to consumption. In this research, Korem 032/Wirabraja has carried out its duties and assisted the local government in overseeing and implementing various programs. This article will discuss the efforts and contributions that have been made by Korem 032/Wirabraja in helping local governments to overcome the global crisis due to Covid 19 and helping develop regional food security. The method of writing scientific articles using qualitative research methods and data collection techniques in the form of Literature Studies and Library Research. This literature study was obtained from various articles in the 2010 to 2022 timeframe, both reputable and non-reputable, and a review of literature books that are in accordance with the theory, especially those related to the Covid 19 Pandemic and Food Security. The results of this study indicate that Korem 032/Wirabraja is already aware of and running food security programs such as Productive Soldier Empowerment and The TNI Manunggal Enters the Village (TMMD).
