Theoretical and Experimental Study of Hydraulic Impact with Reduced Pressure

Abstract


The article presents the theoretical and experimental studies results of negative water hammer in the pressure pipeline of a pumping station. At the same time, a completely satisfactory coincidence of the pressure calculating results in a hydraulic shock using the proposed method with experimental data was obtained, which also justifies the demand for accounting for the water outflow from the check valve plate in the first reduced shock pressure phase.
