Abstract

In vitro antifungal activity of perydroxan on Penicillium digitatum and P. italicum responsible for the decay of citrus fruit

The antifungal activity of perydoxan against Penicillium italicum and P. digitatum attacking citrus fruits of the region of Gharb (Morocco) was tested in vitro. 100% inhibition of mycelial growth was achieved with 2 and 2,5 % perydroxan for P. digitatum and P. italicum, respectively. This product thus exhibits a high potential of disinfection for the control of these phytopathogenes in the conditioning of citrus fruits.

Keywords
