Fréquence De Trichomonas Vaginalis Chez Les Personnes En Age De Procréer Diagnostiquées A Voici l’Homme Hospital A Kinshasa En RD Congo

Abstract


This article focused on the frequency of Trichomonas vaginalis in people of reproductive age diagnosed at Voici l'Homme Hospital. This study was based on a quantitative and experimental method. The research was conducted in the laboratory and involved examinations of the following biological products: blood, leukorrhea, urine, vaginal secretions, and smears. The following results were found:

The HIV/AIDS retrovirus was diagnosed in 33 individuals, or 37.5%, and the pathogen of trichomoniasis (Trichomonas vaginalis) was isolated in 29 individuals, or 32.9%. Clamydia trachomatis was identified in 16 individuals, or 18.2%. The causative agent of gonorrhea (Neisseria gonorrhoeae) was identified in 10 patients, or 11.4%.
