Analysis Of Public Relations Management In Building Internal Public Communication In Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Al-Ma’arif Way Kanan

Abstract


This research is motivated by the curiosity of researchers about the role of PR/PR in building communication with the internal public. The focus of the research is Internal because according to the researcher, the function of Internal Public Relations is often neglected by Public Relations. After all, external affairs are wider and more complicated. In addition, the concept of bureaucracy is contrary to the principles of Public Relations regarding ethics and serving the public well. This study finds out the PR activities at the Internal STAI Al-Ma'arif Way Kanan, the obstacles to Public Relations (PR) carrying out their functions, and realizing Two-way traffic communication in Organizations with a Bureaucratic system at STAI Al-Ma'arif Way Kanan, How PR solves problems faced by members of the organization? How does PR play a role in organizational communication at STAI ALMAWA?. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method. The theory uses organizational communication theory and organizational communication approach as well as Human Relations Theory, while the conceptual framework is Public Relations, the role of Public Relations, Internal Public Relations and the scope of Public Relations. Based on the results of the study, the Public Relations of STAI Al-Ma'arif Way Kanan has carried out its role well. What needs to be evaluated is paying attention to social psychology (Human relations) in communicating with employees, not only human relations but spiritual matters, assisting in organizational communication, and realizing the importance of maintaining relationships with the internal public.
