Abstract

Construction is the point essential with the industrial and tourist development of a country. In building, this development passes by the development of new concepts like environmental materials, in fact cement with mineral additions. Our aim is that any Malagasy can to be able to buy cement of quality and at a reasonable cost. With this intention, we propose to introduce into good clinkers pozzolanic additions with strong added value. Thereafter, we show on the one hand the possibility to realize in Madagascar the powerful equivalent binders starting from local products to replace a more or less great part of cement and on the other one, the potentiality of valorisation of rice husk ash (R.H.A.),[1]residue of combustion of rice balls being used for cooking of bricks. This new approach makes it possible to optimize proportioning in cement, produces expensive and difficult to produce, and to develop local resources.
