The Role Of Actors In A Social Network (Case Study Of Purse Siene Fishermen In Seri Village, Ambon City, Maluku Province)

Abstract


The empowerment of the identity of a group of fishermen not independent of the participation of each member in interacting advance group tersresebut. Interactions showed the presence of a process pertukuran which leads to the formation of social capital that took place in the group. The social network allows every fisherman has the role of each for receive and share information with other actors by utilizing the existing resources in improving the performance of a group of fishermen. The actor who has the role of the most important in the group usually be a referral source for other actors. This study aims to look at the structure of the social network and the role of actors in a social network of fishermen purse seine in the Hamlet of Series the City of Ambon. The results showed that the structure of the social network of fishermen purse seine in the Hamlet Series has a pattern of open (open network) or a personal network that spreads (radial personal network). The actor who has a role as openion leaders and gate keepers are the actors EW,YW, RW ET and NT. The actors that play a role as the bridge is the actor YW, RW ET and NT. The Actor who acted as liason is a PR and traders papalele.
