Institutional Quality, Fight Against Corruption, Energy Consumption and Economic Growth in the MENA Region

Abstract


The objective of this paper is show the effect of the Fight Against Corruption through the Institutional quality on energy consumption and economic growth. Using models of simultaneous equations and for a definite period (1984-2018), our empirical contribution will try to clarify the complementarity between the Institutional quality and the Fight Against Corruption and to show the direct and indirect effects of the action of the public power on energy consumption and economic growth in the MENA region.
