Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted on 384 participants, which was located in An Hai, Phuoc Hai Commune, Ninh Phuoc District, Ninh Thuan Province, Vietnam. They were selected through randomly sampling from January 2020 to March 2020. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression were used to determine the prevalence of hypertension by gender, age, education, and occupation with random variations for surveyed.

Results: A total of 384 participants, 215 males and 169 females aged 25-65. Prevalence of hypertension was more among male (24.5%), aged 45-55 years (17.4%) with secondary school education (13.8%), framer (12.8%).

Conclusion: This is the first study to show the rate of increased blood pressure among the Cham ethnic minorities in Ninh Thuan.
